Synopsis:

When a contentious, self centered, fading rock star (Oran Tobin) gets an ultimatum from his girlfriend to attend his estranged father’s wake to purge the life infiltrating hate and resentment he feels toward the man or the couple’s relationship is over, the last thing he expects to happen when he gets there is to be held captive in a virtually deserted Newfoundland fishing station, by an odd but lovable group of locals. Through songs written by his father, Oran comes to know about his family’s history, heritage, the deep love his father had for him and eventually, the reason why the man disappeared suddenly so many years ago.
